




Dr. Ali Doroudchi earned his undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from UCLA, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and his medical degree from UC San Diego, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his Pediatrics residency and Allergy & Immunology fellowship at UCLA, receiving the Alice Moss Award for professionalism and clinical excellence. Dr. Doroudchi specializes in the care of children and adults with food allergies, eczema, asthma, allergic rhinitis, and immunologic disorders, and joins Modena Allergy & Asthma in Summer 2024.

Dr. Toan Do is an Allergy and Immunology specialist. He earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine, completed his Internal Medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University, and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at UC San Diego. He provides expert care for patients with allergic and immunologic conditions, helping them manage and improve their long-term health.

Dr. Canty is a California native and board-certified pediatric and adult allergy specialist. He graduated from Dartmouth College and earned his MD and MPH from Penn State, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his pediatrics residency at Oregon Health & Science University and his Allergy & Immunology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego.
He treats a full spectrum of allergic and immunologic conditions in children and adults, with clinical interests in nasal polyps, aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease, food allergies, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, chronic hives, and infant oral immunotherapy. He is committed to evidence-based, compassionate care for patients and families.


Dr. Steven Meltzer is a New York native and USC Medical School graduate who completed his Pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and a fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Kaiser Foundation Hospital, earning the AAAAI Young Investigator Award. Based in Long Beach, he is an Associate Clinical Professor at UC Irvine and former Director of Pediatric Allergy at Miller Children’s Hospital. A past president of the California Society of Allergy and Immunology, Dr. Meltzer has led numerous community asthma programs and clinical research initiatives. He also holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from Cal State Long Beach and established the Evelyn Meltzer Endowment at USC to support medical students from single-parent families.



Dr. Iris Kim is a physician from Honolulu, Hawai‘i, who completed her pediatric residency and Allergy/Immunology fellowship at UC Irvine. She treats a range of allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, eczema, and hives, with compassionate, evidence-based care.


Hailing from the heart of Kentucky, Dr. Sanjay Patel embarked on his medical journey at the University of Kentucky for his undergraduate education. His pursuit of medical excellence led him to the University of Pikeville-KYCOM, where he earned his medical degree. His medical career ascended as he completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Louisville, followed by a prestigious chief resident year. His advanced training in Allergy/Immunology was accomplished at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Tanha Patel is a certified Physician Assistant at Modena Health, specializing in allergies, asthma, eczema, and immunologic conditions. She earned her degrees from Virginia Tech and Shenandoah University and began her career in a busy emergency department managing acute cases such as asthma exacerbations and anaphylaxis. Tanha is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care and empowering patients through education and collaborative treatment.

Dr. Hannah Shin is an allergist and immunologist caring for children and adults. She completed her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of South Florida and her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at UC San Diego. She focuses on immune deficiency and inborn errors of immunity and is dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life.
